His re-working of Bézier curves can today be found in Adobe Illustrator, PostScript and PDF. During his career, Forrest has been engaged worldwide as a researcher and teacher, among others at MIT and Xerox PARC and a consultant for Xerox, DEC, Adobe Systems, Apple, Microsoft, Lucas Film and Pixar. The talk will describe how computer graphics developed as a consequence of Cold War funding.
