Marta Rizzonelli is research associate of the project “Social interaction through sound-feedback - Sentire” at the Department of Musicology and Media Studies. In this context, she applies the method of structured observation to investigate how the sound-based Body-Machine-Interface Sentire can be integrated in healthcare, both with clinical and non-clinical clients. Marta studied musicology in Italy (Università degli Studi di Pavia) and in Germany (Humboldt University), where she gained her Master of Arts in Musicology with an experimental thesis about musical feedback stimulation for Parkinson's Disease. Her main interests lie in therapeutic applications of music, music cognition and music didactics, especially with 5 to 14 year-old children.
